Real Sociedad are eyeing Arsenal fullback Nacho Monreal.

The Mirror says his contract at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of next season and there are reports in Spain suggesting a return to La Liga is on the cards this summer.

Media sources say La Real are targeting a left-back and Monreal is the preferred option of sporting director Roberto Olabe.

Olabe has only taken charge of La Real this year.
