Real Sociedad boss Moyes targets Stoke playmaker Adam

Real Sociedad coach David Moyes plans to return to the Premier League for Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam in January.

The Daily Star Sunday says Moyes' assistant Billy McKinlay watched Stoke play Burnley last weekend and Adam came on as a late substitute.

Burnley won with two goals from Danny Ings and he is another on Sociedad's radar as he is out of contract in the summer but can talk to foreign clubs from January.

Adam, 28, was a target for Moyes while at Everton and was represented by his brother Kenny Moyes.
