Real Murcia have secured star striker Kike Garcia to a new contract.

Real Madrid have been chasing hard the Spain U20 international, who put pen to paper on a new four-year deal to 2013 yesterday.

Garcia is aware of Madrid's interest, but insists he's happy to continue developing at Segunda Liga Murcia.

"My performance for Spain have drawn the attention of other clubs, but my desire was to stay with this club and the renewal will see me redouble my efforts to help the team do well," said Garcia.
