Ki Sung-Yueng is excited about his move to Real Mallorca.
Released by Newcastle United earlier this month, the South Korea midfielder has signed with Mallorca to the end of the season.
Ki said, “I'm going to train hard to help the team stay up. I am a midfielder and I like to play good football when my team has the ball.
“First of all, I think we have to stay in LaLiga, that is the priority; it's a bit of a difficult situation (Vicente Moreno's team is in the relegation zone), but I think we can stay up.
“It is a great honour to come to Spain because when I was younger I dreamed of playing here, and I hope I can do it against the best players; my dream has come true."
Ki says he's also looking forward to playing with Real Madrid's on-loan Japanese teen Takefusa Kubo.
"Kubo is also a very talented player and in Japan they are following his matches; with him I hope we can contribute to make the team better," added the 31 year-old.
