Real Mallorca midfielder Marc Pedraza is full of praise for young teammate Takefusa Kubo.

The Japan international is on-loan at Mallorca from Real Madrid.

Pedraza says: "He is similar to (Lionel) Messi, if he gets the ball he can solve the game, he can create you a penalty ... He has the conditions to be a big team player.

"He had a time of adaptation and now he is taking the lead."

Pedraza was at Barca with Lionel Messi as a junior and he recalled: "Messi was already crazy as a child. He had conditions that he has shown today. How he covered the ball, how he was dribbling. There was no way to take away the ball or kick him. He laughed at us playing, he did what he wanted with the ball."
