Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has shrugged off reports he was furious with his players after Saturday's defeat at Real Betis.

Ahead of their Champions League clash with Roma, Schuster said: "I can't remember if I was angry with my players. You can't compare that game with the one against Almeria.

"We thought that Betis was easy and we paid for it in a very expensive way.

"We cannot commit these errors against Roma because we are not playing for three points, it is an elimination round. The motivation is different here."
