The antics of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo are beginning to frustrate teammates, it has been revealed.
Ronaldo is enduring his worst start to a season with Real since his arrival and teammates, particularly the younger contingent, are stunned by his behaviour, says Diario Gol.
"There's constant tension" and "it's unbearable" are regular phrases muttered by Real's young players. The club's new arrivals are also shocked by how everything revolves around the Portugal captain.
"This has nothing to do with the idea of teamwork that we were taught all our lives," said one locker room source.
Even on the pitch, with Ronaldo's constant demands for the ball and obsession with scoring has left teammates unhappy - including those who have been with the club for years.
Tellingly, after victory over Espanyol, Real coach Zinedine Zidane confessed Ronaldo was "feeling very disappointed".
