Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez admits he has the World Cup on his mind.

There are still places up for grabs in Julen Lopetegui's World Cup squad and, with a sustained run of form, there is a possibility that Vazquez could claim such a spot for himself.

However, he made clear he's only focused on his domestic duties for the moment.

"All I can tell you is that I want to do well for Real Madrid," he explained.

"The coach will be the one who ultimately decides.

"Since October and November I've been feeling a lot stronger and I must continue on this course."
