Real Madrid wing-back Lucas Vazquez: Real Betis draw not good enough

Real Madrid wing-back Lucas Vazquez insists the title race isn't over after their 0-0 draw with Real Betis.

With Barcelona defeating Valencia, Real Madrid are ten points behind the Blaugrana.

Vazquez said, "The team deserved to get more out of here. We weren't clinical enough in the final phase and in the last pass to create clearer chances. We're not satisfied with the draw.

"We're in March now. It's complicated and it's a big deficit, but we're going to fight until the end because we believe we can turn it around.

"We want the fans to have confidence in us. We're going to fight for all three competitions because they are still very much alive and we will go all out in all three."

Real teammate Dani Ceballos also said: "The team was more focused in the last few minutes with the risk that they would counter-attack and we would lose the game. We did what we had to do and fought until the end.

"My chance was quite clear. I took it at close range as the ball was bouncing and I didn't position my body properly. It was a clear cut chance to make it 0-1."
