Real Madrid wing-back Achraf Hakimi says his move to Borussia Dortmund has been the best decision of his career.

Hakimi is on-loan at BVB this season.

He said, "I grew up in the youth clubs of Real Madrid, with whom I did the whole route up to the first team, but I needed to change, I need to grow as a player, gaining more space and achieving new goals as a starter.

"In Dortmund everything is going well, I hope it goes on for a long time.

"I am very happy to be here. It was not easy to adapt, but now I find myself at ease."
