Real Madrid have ZERO intention of losing Martin Odegaard to Arsenal permanently.

The Norway midfielder is joining the Gunners on-loan to the end of the season - though with no option to buy.

Okdiario says the straight loan was driven by Real directors, whom are adamant that Odegaard is a future Los Merengues star.

Despite his struggles this season under coach Zinedine Zidane, the 22 year-old retains the board's confidence and there is no chance of Arsenal convincing the club to eventually sell.

Instead, Odegaard is being placed in London strictly with the view of reigniting the progress management saw during last season's spell with Real Sociedad.
