Real Madrid are watching Bernardo Silva's form at Manchester City.
The Mirror says the 24-year-old attacking midfielder has developed into one of Pep Guardiola's go-to creative players at Manchester City since his £43.5million move from Monaco 18 months ago.
Guardiola sees the £70m-rated Portuguese as the long-term successor to main playmaker David Silva. But that has not stopped Madrid putting him on their hit-list as they prepare to spend big next summer.
And that could trigger new contract talks for Silva, who has become a big favourite at the Etihad.
Silva still has three and a half-years left on his current deal after signing a five-year contract when he joined.
It's believed City are ready to look at improved terms with Silva now a key cog in Guardiola's plans.
