AS says there is an acceptance between United and Pogba that it is the right time to part ways. Talk of Pogba being keen on staying next season are wide of the mark and any plans to trigger the 12 month option in his deal only involve United maintaining his value.
Real coach Zinedine Zidane has made it no secret he wants to work with the 27 year-old, though president Florentino Perez is yet to be fully convinced.
Last summer, Real made an attempt, but quickly pulled back after being quoted €200m for the Frenchman. But 12 months on, things will change, with United slashing their asking price to half that figure.
Zidane and Pogba met each other last October in Dubai, fueling further transfer talk. They both spent a few days in the UAE (Pogba doing injury recovery) and were able to talk for a length of time.
