Real Madrid vice-president Miguel Pardeza insists the board is fully behind coach Manuel Pellegrini.

Despite three defeats in the last four games, including the humiliating Copa loss to little Alcorcon, Pardeza says Pellegrini is safe.

"We are confident that he is doing good work and it may not be noticeable at times," said Pardeza, who curiously added that he 'thinks' president Florentino Perez feels the same way.

"I think so, I think Pellegrini has the support of Florentino," he added.
