Real Madrid veteran Lucas Vazquez was delighted with victory at Sevilla.
Real won 2-1 on Saturday thanks to Rodrygo Goes' brace.
Vazquez said: "We went into the game on the back of a few away games in which we've struggled to get the three points. I think we got a very good win today. The team was very committed from start to finish. We knew how to dig deep when it mattered and the team did a great job. I'm happy with the win.
"I'm very comfortable playing at full-back. I've been playing as a winger for many years, but right now I'm really enjoying my new position. I'm feeling better every year and I like it, I feel very good.
“It's always important to have home-grown players. Those of us who have been at Real Madrid for so many years know how hard you have to work and what it takes to get to the first team. It's an essential part of that character of always wanting to win; of never giving up and always fighting to the end. It's something that Real Madrid teaches right through from the youth ranks to the first team. Players like Nacho are so important to us."
