Juventus have rejected a bid from Real Madrid for defender Giorgio Chiellini.
TMW says Real tabled an offer of €23 million for Chiellini, but it was rejected out of hand by Juve.
The failed move for Chiellini has led to Real returning to the negotiating table for Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho.
Carvalho is expected to join Real today.
