Real Madrid refuse to do business with Manchester City over striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Daily Express says Real Madrid have gone cold on the idea of making Adebayor's loan move permanent after City demanded a £14 million fee on top of the striker's £140,000-a-week wages.
Real were knocked back by Marwood and Cook when they told the pair they would pay only £5m for Adebayor if City will not subsidise a percentage of the player's salary.
City have attempted to encourage interest from Zenit St Petersburg, who could afford Adebayor, but directors are ignoring the fact that he has no intention of moving to Russia.
