Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz admits he hopes to catch the eye of Spain coach Luis Enrique.

Mariano scored on his debut in victory over Champions League opponents AS Roma on Wednesday night.

He said: "I am very happy for the goal and I would like to thank my teammates.

"My personal goal is to help the team, winning the Champions League would be great.

"I would like to be called by Luis Enrique, I hope I can be part of the national team."
