Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic's season has suffered another blow after being forced into isolation.

The striker reportedly came into contact with a friend who later tested positive for coronavirus, and despite the 22-year-old's own test coming back negative, he has no choice but to follow Spanish government guidelines.

It is unclear how long Jovic will have to watch Madrid from home but he is likely to miss Madrid's clash with Alaves on Friday, with another fixture against Granda coming just three days later.

The latest negative in the Serbian's Madrid move was confirmed by El Chiringuito, giving the £54m summer signing even less hope of proving his worth to Zinedine Zidane this season.
