Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema admits he still dreams of winning the Ballon d'Or.

For many, Benzema has just completed a career best LaLiga season after firing Real to the title.

On his personal YouTube channel, the Frenchman declared: "The Ballon d'Or, a goal? Of course, all the time, since I was little. But that does not mean that I am all the time, every day, putting this in my head 'Ballon d'Or, Ballon d'Or'.

"But you have to when you are a player, a competitor.

"The best season of my career? Last year I said it was last year but this year I climbed even higher. I am in a good period, we must take advantage of it."
