Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema was satisfied with their 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid.
Benzema struck Real's goal for the point.
He later said, "We put in a good performance, it was very difficult against a good team. They had the better of the first half and we had the better of the second. It's a good point for us.
"The move for the goal was good. I'm a bit annoyed because a few minutes earlier I could have scored but the keeper made a good save. I'm happy with the result, we've still got a lot to play for. This result means that the league is far from over and we can keep our eye on the title."
On Atletico Madrid defender Felipe's apparent handball, he added: "I didn't see anything, I think it touched his arm and when the referee goes to look 90% of the time it's a penalty, but we're not worried. We kept our cool and in the end we got the equaliser."
