Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has no doubts Lionel Messi will succeed with PSG.

The forward has discussed the Ballon d'Or, his side's upcoming clash against Paris Saint Germain and two of their main men, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

Some people have been critical of Messi since he moved to PSG from Barcelona last summer, but Benzema has no doubts that he'll be a success in the French capital.

"There's no way he won't do well," Benzema told Telefoot.

"This is just a time where he's adapting, because he's not scoring many goals.

"Look at what he does on the pitch, though.

"Anyway, you can't criticise a player like that. Anyone that criticises Messi doesn't really understand football."
