Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has been named France's best player of the season abroad.
The award was granted by the Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels.
"I'm very happy and pleased because this award means a lot to me," said the striker.
Benzema has played 53 games this season, scoring 30 goals and giving 7 assists.
