Real Madrid star Ronaldo: I don't regret exit talk. I must be honest

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo stands by his comments made in Kiev after winning the Champions League final.

Indeed, this morning the Portuguese has expanded on his exit claims after victory over Liverpool.

"Money is not the problem," the 33-year-old told Marca. "I have won the Champions League five times and the Ballon d'Or five times, I have written history, but now I am not disappointed, because I know what I am giving the club, I do not want this unique moment. I've just become champion with my colleagues."

Ronaldo was recently linked to a switch to his old club Manchester United and a lucrative transfer to China.

"I cannot guarantee anything," Ronaldo also told Marca. "I'm not going to hide, I'll talk in the coming days, life is not just about fame."

On his relationship with Real president Florentino Perez, he added: "I have no problems with him, I speak to him and greet him as befits a professional, a storm is created in a glass of water while it is not there, it was not the right time to say it, but I'm honest, I do not want to talk much, but when I talk, I talk, of course I have something to say, but this was not the right time, but I do not regret it, because I was honest."
