Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona ace Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer have been confirmed as the three finalists for the Ballon d'Or, with the winner to be unveiled on January 12.
There were no surprises in the final selections.
Cristiano, the top scorer in last season's Champions League and who helped Madrid to the title, is the favourite.
Messi, who controversially won the Ballon d'Or at the World Cup, is second in the betting.
Neuer is the representative of the World Champions, Germany, who reached the summit thanks to a stunning 7-1 victory over Brazil in the semi-finals.
