Real Madrid star Kroos being back on Man Utd radar raises more LVG questions

Manchester United are believed to be back in the hunt to sign Toni Kroos from Real Madrid.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are again showing significant interest in the German midfielder who was close to joining the Old Trafford outfit in the summer of 2014.

Reports indicate that then-United boss David Moyes was close to sealing a deal for Kroos but the 26-year-old ultimately joined Real from Bayern Munich after Louis van Gaal pulled the pin on the deal.

The news that United are once again keen on Kroos further indicates that perhaps van Gaal is on the way out this summer to make way for Jose Mourinho.

Speculation that the club is making plans to sign players van Gaal is not interested in does not bode well for the Dutchman who has been constantly linked with the axe at the culmination of the current campaign.
