Real Madrid star Bale confident Man Utd great Neville will come through Valencia sacking

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale believes Gary Neville has what it takes to 'bounce back' following his sacking by Valencia on Wednesday.

Neville was shown the door by the La Liga outfit after winning just three matches during his four-month stint with the club.

Bale acknowledged Neville may have struggled to make the transition to life in Spanish football, which ultimately led to his downfall.

"It is obviously difficult coming to Spain anyway and being a manager where you really do have to be vocal and speak the language," Bale said.

"It is obviously a difficult situation but I felt given time he's shown how much he knows about football and it is obviously a shame he's been sacked.

"I'm sure he'll bounce back from the experience and it will stand him in good stead for the future."
