Real Madrid are preparing a pre-contract offer for Chelsea defender Toni Rudiger.

The Germany international's Chelsea deal is running down this season and he is yet to enter talks about a new contract.

Instead, Rudiger is fielding rival offers and Onda Cero says Real Madrid are in contact.

Rudiger's Bosman status suits the ambitions of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, who is prepared to make a pre-contract offer to the German in January.

The defender is among the lowest paid senior players at Chelsea on £100,000-a-week.
