Real Madrid signing Takefusa Kubo admitted some frustration after featuring for Japan in today's 4-0 Copa America humbling by Chile.
The 18 year-old midfielder, whose move from FC Tokyo to Real was confirmed on the eve of the tournament, started the match.
"We lost 4-0 to a champion like Chile, it was a very bad experience and a very hard defeat for the team," said Kubo.
"I could do many things, but I could not score, I could not give an assist and I could not help as I thought for the team and that bothers me a lot, but we have to move on."
Asked about Real Madrid, Kubo concluded: "I only think about the Copa America, when everything is over I'll think about that."
