New Real Madrid signing Ferland Mendy has talked up the prospect of Paul Pogba arriving this summer.

The Manchester United midfielder is wanted by Real and Juventus, with Mendy backing the move for his France teammate.

The former Lyon fullback was asked at his presentation yesterday about PSG star Kylian Mbappe and Pogba also joining.

"Mbappé and Pogba? Why could not they come to Real Madrid? They are two very good players," said Mendy.

"But I did not talk to them about Real Madrid."
