After inking a deal with Real Madrid, Sami Khedira immediately put Barcelona on notice.
Germany midfielder Khedira signed for Madrid late last week and flew to the United States on Monday to link up with his new team-mates on the club's pre-season tour.
"I'm looking forward to arriving, to meeting (coach Jose) Mourinho and the rest of the team," he told reporters at Madrid's Barajas airport on Monday.
"I'm very excited, I am still in shape thanks to the World Cup, but I will have to get training."
And when the season starts, the former VfB Stuttgart player says he hopes to end Barcelona's domination in Spanish football.
"I think our dream is to beat Barcelona this season," he said.
