Real Madrid are ready to throw everything at signing Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer.

And they intend to hand Karim Benzema's No9 to Kane should he agree to make the move. Kane wears No 10 at Tottenham but Luka Modric has that shirt for Real.

Benzema marked his final game for Real yesterday with a successful penalty for their 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao. And Real have now identified Kane as the Frenchman's replacement.

Marca says Real coach Carlo Ancelotti is backing president Florentino Perez's bid.

And Florentino believes he has an advantage on rivals Manchester United knowing Spurs chairman Daniel Levy doesn't want to sell Kane to a Premier League rival.
