Real Madrid are prepared to sell Mateo Kovacic this sumemr - even if it's not to Chelsea.

Kovacic has spent this season on a straight loan with Chelsea, where he has impressed manager Maurizio Sarri.

Real, reports Okdiario, are happy to sell and have set a price of €50m for the Croatia international to leave.

Chelsea are eager to hold onto the midfielder, though their transfer ban could prohibit a deal.

And that could leave the door open to AC Milan and Zenit St Petersburg to nick Kovacic away from the Blues.
