Real Madrid's 2-goal Cristiano Ronaldo: Now our focus is Sunday

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was delighted with his brace in victory at Celta Vigo last night.

Real won 4-1 and now need just a point from their weekend game at Malaga to win the LaLiga title for the first time in five years.

"We had to go until the end, the game has been very good and we played well, but we know that Malaga are strong at home. We have to go to win," Ronaldo told reporters after the game.

"We go only to win, the objective is always to win, we know that they are good, but we are Real Madrid. We are the best and we want to be champions.

"Real are only thinking of Sunday, and for the Champions League final we will have time to prepare well for it afterwards. I opened the scoring and scored the second, this was important. It isn't normal for me to miss, but I'm human and I can do it."

Ronaldo was complimentary in his praise for both coach Zinedine Zidane and his teammates, as well as the fact that he wishes to keep contributing to the team effort.

"He always wins in the end, and he has done very well in management, plus we have a very good and young squad. I am good, everything will be decided in the final matchdays, and I am doing it well, scoring goals and helping the team," he said.
