Liverpool have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of signing Asier Illarramendi.
Illarramendi joined Real Madrid from Sociedad back in 2013 for a whopping fee of around €32million but it is safe to say that the midfielder has not been able to justify the price tag during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
As a result, Illarramendi has been linked with a move away from the Spanish giants and in recent times, it has been claimed that Liverpool are interested in his services.
Now as a huge boost in Liverpool's hopes of recruiting Illarramendi, new Madrid manager Rafael Benitez is ready to dispense with the services of the Spanish international according to reports from Marca.
