Real Madrid have moved quickly to deny claims in Italy of an agreement with Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

Barcelona have been pursuing a deal for Lautaro for several months, but have struggled to reach agreement over a fee for the Argentina international.

And in Italy it's been claimed Real have now stepped in and agreed personal terms with Lautaro's camp ahead of opening negotiations with Inter.

Indeed, it was suggested Real would include Luka Jovic in their bid for the striker.

But speaking with ABC, a Real source "denies categorically" the story in today's morning press.
