Real Madrid president angry with Man Utd move for Villarreal defender Torres

Real Madrid are angry with Manchester United's move for Villarreal defender Pau Torres.

Torres is in high demand this summer and is understood to be on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's radar this summer.

El Desmarque says Real president Florentino Perez now believes Manchester United have stolen the defender from under their noses.

The interest from Premier League clubs will likely price Los Blancos out of the race for Torres, with the report adding his value is 'rising like foam with each passing day'.

There is a belief that the 24-year-old has a release clause in the region of €60million after he penned a contract extension until 2024 two years ago.

But the La Liga giants could be willing to accept a cash-plus-player offer in order to seal a move in the current financial climate.
