Real Madrid are attempting to rally around Cristiano Ronaldo this week.

While he has returned to goalscoring form, Ronaldo has been knocked by his heavy facial injury suffered against Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday.

Marca says a dinner organised by Real president Florentino Perez saw Ronaldo attend with Luka Modric, Marcelo and Sergio Ramos. The summit was used to clear the air and for the players to reconnect.

Ronaldo has become increasingly isolated over the past two months at Real as their season has spiraled and Perez has taken action to bring the players closer together.

With the Champions League tie against PSG now looming, the president recognises they need Ronaldo in the best frame of mind going into the two games.
