Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is hoping 2020 is full of trophies and success.

Florentino delivered his Christmas message yesterday.

"As we all know, Real Madrid is a universal feeling that unites millions of people around the world.

"To our members and fans, I wish you all happy holidays in the company of your families and loved ones," he stated.

"For this new year I ask for health, work and happiness for all. We want the year 2020 to be a year of success and titles for our football and basketball teams," Perez added.

Real coach Zinedine Zidane offered a similar speech in which he promised the fans that he and his side would do their best to make them proud.

"We want to continue with our positive dynamic and with the results that are allowing us to stay alive in all the competitions we are competing in.

"I am not going to ask for anything more because we are all very connected to what we are doing and that is the most important thing for a coach."
