Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and his board have suspended new contract talks.
AS says Real won't return to the negotiating table with those players seeking new deals until well into January.
Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez are all off contract in June, meaning they can commit to a foreign team from January 1 by signing a pre-contract.
However, Real won't be rushed and given the blow Spain's lockdown has had on their finances, Florentino and his board wish to take their time to consider all revenue projections before discussing new contract terms.
At the moment, the only player with whom a firm agreement for the renewal has been reached is Dani Carvajal, who has not yet signed the new contract although will do so shortly.
The 28-year-old right-back will commit to Madrid until June 2024, when he is 32. Carvajal, along with Nacho, who will end his contract in 2022, is one of the players who exceeds 20 years of service at Real Madrid.
