Real Madrid president Florentino plans new bid for Man City attacker Sterling

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reviving his long-term interest in Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling.

The Daily Star says Sterling is back on Real Madrid's transfer radar.

The Manchester City winger is no longer an automatic starter for Pep Guardiola's side after losing his place to rising England ace Phil Foden.

That situation - and the fact his new contract talks have been shelved for the season - means Sterling is once again attracting strong interest from the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid president Florentino have long courted the Three Lions ace but had all but given up on luring him to the Bernabeu with his future seemingly destined to remain at the Etihad.

However, while the player is still happy at City - and expects to resume negotiations on extending his stay once the Euros are over - his lack of regular first-team action has reignited Real's chase.
