Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has ruled out bringing back Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
In Italy, it's been suggested Ronaldo could become available at Juventus due to financial doubts raised by the coronavirus suspension.
And the situation has led to talk of Ronaldo seeking a return to Real after two seasons away.
However, Marca quotes a boardroom source stating Florentino won't consider re-signing the 35 year-old, despite his admiration for the striker.
"This does not fit into the club's sports policy. Florentino Pérez appreciates him, but his time has passed and his sporting objectives are different," said the insider.
Instead, Real intend to throw their resources at bringing PSG striker Kylian Mbappe to Spain.
