Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is in contact with Carlo Ancelotti about a return - this season.

Don Balon says Perez is ready to pull the trigger on coach Zinedine Zidane before the end of this campaign. Indeed, the Frenchman's association with Real could be over this month.

Perez will ask for Zidane's resignation should Real be dumped out of the Champions League by PSG in their round of 16 tie.

And should the decision be made, Perez will move to hire Ancelotti as a stop-gap to the end of this season before making a long-term appointment.

Zidane is again under pressure today after Saturday's poor 2-2 draw with Levante.
