Real Madrid president Florentino has 5-keeper shortlist to replace Keylor

Real Madrid are prepared to look elsewhere if they cannot get a deal done with Manchester United for David de Gea over the next year.

Real president Florentino Perez remains determined to replace Keylor Navas long-term with a new keeper and has had intermediaries maintain contact with De Gea.

However, Don Balon says the Spain No1 isn't the only name under consideration as Perez has scouts step up his plans to find a replacement for the Costa Rica international.

Athletic Bilbao youngster Kepa Arrizabalaga attracted enquiries this summer, as did Gigio Donnarumma before his decision to re-sign with AC Milan.

Bayer Leverkusen's Bernd Leno is also being scouted, while there has been discussion inside the Santiago Bernabeu about a hostile raid on Atletico Madrid for Jan Oblak.

The final decision on Keylor, meanwhile, will depend on his form and consistency this season.
