Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is prioritising a move for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
So much so, reports L'Equipe, that Florentino wants to forget about Manchester United ace Paul Pogba and focus on bringing teenager Camavinga to Madrid in 2020.
Real coach Zinedine Zidane wants a new midfield addition made - preferably this month - and his first-choice is Pogba. The Frenchman has been offered Donny van de Beek (Ajax) and Christian Eriksen (Tottenham) as alternatives, but he has rejected both options to focus on Pogba.
But for his part, Florentino would prefer to chase down a deal for 17 year-old Camavinga.
Rennes insiders insist they're under no pressure to sell and that it will take over €100m to bring them to the negotiating table.
