Real Madrid president Florentino edges closer to Isco's side in Ronaldo split

Divisions inside the Real Madrid locker room are growing as the team continues to struggle.

After the El Clasico defeat to Barcelona before Christmas, Real resumed the second-half of the LaLiga campaign with a disappointing 2-2 draw at Celta Vigo on Sunday.

Diario Gol says the spotlight on Cristiano Ronaldo is now red hot, with many inside the locker room claiming the Portuguese is the team's biggest problem this season.

Ronaldo's greatest critic is Isco, who has the support of Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez, Dani Ceballos and even Sergio Ramos. Some players even claim with Ronaldo "we're playing with ten".

For his part, Ronaldo feels the same about Isco, who he believes hurts Real's style of play. It's significant that Isco has battled for a regular start this season.

However, despite the backing of coach Zinedine Zidane, the same for Ronaldo cannot be said of Real president Florentino Perez. It's suggested Perez is now actively working on team rebuilding solutions which do not include his No7.
