Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has attacked Inter Milan over their attempts to sign Luka Modric this summer.
Perez suggested at the UEFA awards last night that Inter tried to sign Modric for a free transfer.
The president said, "I have never seen a club want to buy our 10 without paying, it's the first time this has happened to me in my life."
Javier Zanetti, Inter's vice president, was quick to respond.
"I still have not heard these statements, when I do we will value them with the club in the appropriate way," he said.
