Real Madrid are prepared to send Gareth Bale back to Tottenham, it has been revealed.
Marca says Bale could leave Real at the end of the season as the club consider using the Welshman as a bargaining chip to sign either Chelsea's Eden Hazard or Tottenham's Christian Eriksen.
Vinicius Junior, 18, has jumped ahead of Bale in the pecking order at Real, and the club have been left frustrated that the 29-year-old has been unable to take his game to the next level since Ronaldo left.
Despite being in his sixth season at Real, Bale still hasn't learnt Spanish, while his injury problems are another cause for concern.
There is still time, however, for Bale to change Real's mind regarding his situation, and he is eager to stay at the club.
