Real Madrid are showing a surprise interest in Leicester City centre-back Caglar Soyuncu.

The La Liga giants are still to replace the loss of two significant centre-backs this summer — Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos.

According to Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Los Merengues are monitoring the Turkish international for a possible move in the short term.

Leicester do have Soyuncu under contract until 2023, while the report suggests he is valued at roughly £38 million.

Real currently have David Alaba, Eder Militao, and Jesus Vallejo as center back options, which means a winter move for Soyuncu is a very real possibility.
