Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has suffered a groin injury.
After suffering multiple groin issues in the 2020/21 season, Kroos will now immediately turn his focus to recovery.
"After the tests carried out on our player Toni Kroos, he has been diagnosed with pubalgia and is pending evaluation," a statement read.
Kroos' injury comes as a particular personal blow, with the midfielder having just retired from international football in order to focus on his club career with Real Madrid.
